3d5656fb57 Unit Tests 
- The lisp.t.cpp tests were written for an older and different Tree
  object.  This change brings it more up to date.

d012fc9717 Code Salvage 
- Integrated some code from the (soon to be obsolete) 2.0.0 branch,
  which is general in nature and will be needed.
- And the corresponding unit tests.
